Mesothelioma
As you know that my son and I are here in Manila staying just for 2 nights before flying to Cagayan De Oro to be able to be there with my siblings because we just loss our brother. He passed away on the weekend. While talking to my sister this morning, one of our friend's father just passed away yesterday because he has been ill for a long time. She said, she heard from the daughter that her father was diagnosed to have mesothelioma because of the exposure of asbestos while working in the old building most of his life. Well, we don't really know how our body react to it, until you get very sick and die from it, but this brother of mine is different story, but it's hard to write knowing we already greiving for him. We miss him so much and I was in tears this afternoon when I count how many brothers I am going to buy a t-shirt in baclaran and I still count my brother. I don't know how long we cope this tragedy happened to my brother. We just hope and pray that the police will catch the 2 brothers still out there.

Hi Lanie, just hang in there. I know how it feels to lose a loved one, but let's just rest in the thoughts that he is in a better place right now. My prayers are with you and your family. Take care my friend.
This is so sad. I was watching a documentary the other day here in Canada that although it has banned the use of asbestos here it exports it to developing countries which kills people. That sucks big time.
