Beef Stew Recipe (Nilagang Baka)

This is what I cook the other day since I was craving for beef stew. The problem is I am the only one eat this dish because my family doesn't like it. They both miss the good one though, but I didn't force them to eat. I enjoyed myself alone. Here's the recipe


Ingredients

1 kilo beef, cut into 1 1/2
6 potatoes cut the same size as the beef
chinese cabbage
green beans
1 meduim onion
4 tablespoons of patis (fish sauce)
1 liter of water
Salt
pepper
a pice of ginger root, sliced
spring onion

Preparation:
In the big pan, boil the water, then beef and boil for about 1 1/2 hours until the beef is tender. Add the potatoes. Continue to simmer until potatoes are cooked. Add the the ingredient and followed by the chinese cabbage and green beans Do not over cook the vegetables and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with white rice and patis.
