Memory Upgrade

We have old Canon Olympus Camera that my husband got from a gift through his work 4 years ago, but I haven't use that camera because I bought digital camera last summer. I am thinking that I will send to my family in the Philippines so they could use and take photos and shared to us, but I need to have a memory upgrade to make sure still working because it hasn't been use for almost 2 years. I am not sure how much it cost to have a memory upgrade, but I will look around which one is cheaper and affordable price.
